Israeli Police Arrest The Sister Of Hamas Terrorist Leader

The arrest took place in southern Israel, but the police is yet to disclose the identity of the suspect. Across Israeli media, there have been reports of the arrest, with every information pointing to the sister of the Ismail Haniyeh.
The act of concealing the identity of the arrested woman is seen as a precautionary measure to pass a message of calm.
When such notable arrest is made, operatives of the terrorist often engage in retaliation that involve suicide attack or lone attack.
Within the security circle of the Israeli police, no reason has been established as to why the 57years suspect’s identity and full details were not made public.
The arrest will mark the first time Israeli police is arresting the direct sister of the Hamas leader on crimes of terrorism.
Since his brother assumed the leadership of the terrorist organization, Haniyeh’s sister has continued to enjoy freedom in Israel.
Israeli government has indicated that the family of the Hamas leader will not be targeted for the crimes he committed.
After gathering information on the suspect who lives in southern Israel, Israeli Police with Shin Bet approved a raid.
In the raid in the southern town of Tel Sheva, officers found telephones, documents, media and other devices and evidence linking the suspect to “serious security offenses” according to Times of Israel.
The suspect was tracked and found to be in communication and supporting Hamas terrorists.
The terrorists have often relied on the information from contacts and subordinates in Israel to direct their rockets and attack sensitive places or military bases.
The woman as recorded by Israeli Police was found to be in active communication with the terrorist operatives.
When Hamas terrorists attacked Israel under the cover of barrage of rockets on October 7, they didn’t know the location to military bases, and this is a significant advantage to Israel’s security.
Israel takes seriously offenses that dish out information or support the terrorist operatives through communications that are categorized sensitive or a support.
Hamas started a war against Israel on October 7 after they crossed the border and murdered more than a thousand Israelis, including children and women and elderly.
They took more than 200 hostages and attempted to take over the southern Israeli communities. Their plan was made fruitless after Israeli Defense Forces mobilized and eliminated one thousand terrorists who had crossed over the border.
Arrest of the sister of Ismail Haniyeh will not change his perception of or position against Israel.
The Hamas leader has overseen a Gaza that is focused on eliminating Israel and wiping it out of the surface of the earth instead of taking care of Palestinians.
Haniyeh is also a key factor in negotiation to free Israeli hostages taken since October 7.
He recently commended the United Nations Security Council Resolution which asked Israel to ceasefire and ensure sufficient aid delivery into the Gaza Strip.
He considered the resolution a victory over Israel and urged Islamic world to come together and stand with Palestine in their quest.
