What Mike Tyson Will Do To Make His Bout With Jake Paul A Pro Bout

By Dailytab24.

Age is not on the side of the former champion who reigned supreme in the 1990s, but an old women never gets tired in her favorite dance.

Mike Tyson will square up in the ring with Jake Paul after many years we thought we had seen the last of the uppercut master.

Known for his confrontational boxing style, Mike Tyson will once more walk into the ring to defend and strike. This time, Jake Paul will be the victim of his knockout threat that often materializes.

The world is reeling to see Mike Tyson back on the podium, but we might not see a free flowing Tyson. Due to his age, there must be considerations before his bout with Jake Paul is categorized a professional fight.

Tyson would like to have one more professional bout, to add to his history. It must come with conditions which are solely on Mike Tyson to meet.

The organizers of the match understand that making the fight a professional one will add flare and change the perceptions of both boxers.

Jake Paul would want a professional rating of beating Tyson, which would despite the circumstance, add to his profile.

On the other hand, Tyson has a point to prove – that age is just a number. Tyson would not want the professional rating that he lost to Jake Paul, as that would affect his rating going forward in the business.

Under the supervision of the Texas Boxing Commission, moves are being made to note down the fight as a professional fight. But part of the condition is related to Mike Tyson’s age.

Tyson will have to pass an electroencephalogram (a cardiovascular assessment) and electrocardiogram (a brain assessment). Without passing through these tests, Mike Tyson cannot be clear to fight, unless the bout is made an exhibition bout.

Information gathered by Talksport indicated that Tyson will undergo the test and the bout likely to be a professional fight.

A lot of changes will be applied to the fight if it is not sanctioned as a professional fight, such as 16oz gloves instead of 10z gloves used by professional boxers.

The boxing will be over two-minute rounds instead of the three-minute and won’t be scored by panel of judges. The bout will be more of exhibition, rather than a pro fight with stakes.

According to Happy Punch, nothing has been set out for the match as Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations are still assessing the proposals presented by the promoter of the bout.

The department communication manager insinuated that a date for the bout has been chosen but proposals to finalize details of the categorization of the match have not been provided.

“They want to be sure that they have secured the date with us, since we will have to make sure we have appropriate staffing available for any event” the communication manager said. The fight will be held on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Tyson is largely being conditioned because of his age. He had clocked 58 by the time he steps into the ring, while Jake Paul is 27.

31 years age gap is so much in boxing, considering the situation of the brain that is likely to rupture. There is fear of health damage and death, and that has caused the mandated test before the bout can be categorized a professional bout.
