Bayern Munich Coach Gives Up On Bundelisga Title Race

Bayern Munich Coach Gives Up On Bundelisga Title Race

By Dailytab24.

Tuchel has given up on the dream of winning the German league after losing two zero to BVB. In a hotly contested match, BVB came out on top as goals from the Nigerian root Adeyemi and Ryerson consigned Bayern to a crushing defeat.

The German champion has become  a shadow of itself since it unbelievably sacked its former coach and hired Tuchel.  The team keeps faltering week in and out, with no stability or momentum on sight.  Giving up on the Bundelisga narrows down any chance of a silverware to only the Champions League. As it tightens up on Bayern,  Harry Kane will be bitting his fingers.

Tuchel declared after the defeat in the hands of BVB “it’s over”. Conscious of going thirteen points behind Bayer Leverkusen if they lose,  Bayern Munich players were expected to perform and go for results, knowing that any chance of winning the league will be possible if all matches are won and Bayer Leverkusen loses some of theirs.  But the team appeared to lack belief and came short of the determination to compete.

BVB last won this fixture 3641 days ago, and it only points to the monumental collapse of the team under Tuchel. The ex-Chelsea coach has nothing to lose as his contract will be terminated in the summer. His reaction to the unexpected loss was direct and plain.

“Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen,  the title race is over” the German coach said after the match.  He understood that thirteen points are massive, but the driving force of his comments was his team’s inability to show the mettle needed to pounce on Bayer Leverkusen’s expectant drops.

Last season was same story, the team had the league title as a gift, following BVB disappointment on the last day of the league match. Bayer Leverkusen is not taking it lightly this season, they are determined and have run away with the trophy, not even a collapse can gift Bayern Munich the title, it has to definitely be a monumental collapse.

Harry Kane will continue on his quest to have a club trophy to his name. The English striker left Tottenham to win titles with Bayern Munich, but his wait will go on. The Champions League is on the horizon, but Arsenal must be brushed aside for any hope of a silverware for the English man.

The door had been closed on the league title race “now the title race can be considered finished” Tuchel announced.

The German coach made strings of signings that didn’t work out. Poaching Liverpool’s Sadio Mane but couldn’t get the best out of the Senegal international who showed his world class personality at Liverpool.

Tuchel also couldn’t harmonise his team, with Mane being fined for a punch at Sane, after the latter reportedly made racist comments against him. Tuchel was not also able to keep his players happy, with most complaining about sitting on the bench.

Few players have attempted to leave the club after insinuating they are not satisfied with Tuchel. The disharmony within the team has sufficiently reflected in their season. And by the time Tuchel looks back after his exit, he would pout at a mixed experience with the German champion.
