Hamas Bomb IDF Encampment Near Nasser Hospital, Kill Israeli Commando

The war in Gaza continues to take its toll on Israel, after Hamas killed a commando and wounded 16 Israel Defence Forces troops.
The soldier died in Southern Gaza Strip after Hamas operatives launched an RPG at the encampment of the troops, hours after IDF killed a Hamas operative within the camp. Israeli troops have taken Khan Younis, but cells of terrorists still operate in the area.
The terrorist organisation can no longer function as a fighting unit. They have been bisected to the point pockets of cells exist, and use hit and run approach. Khan Younis battalions were considered the strongest battalions of the Hamas terrorists, but crumbled under Israel Defence Forces fire in a couple of weeks.
The commando was named as
Sgt. First Class Alon Kudriashov. He was 21 years and of the Commando Brigades of Egoz unit. The death of the Modiin soldier brought the number of dead Israeli soldiers in Gaza since the war started (ground offensive in Gaza) to 254.
In a show of psychological war, Hamas uploaded the video of its operatives firing an RPG at a building IDF troops used as an encampment. The fire seriously injured 6 soldiers, who are battling for their lives after they were rushed to a hospital. Ten others are moderately wounded, while only Alon died on the spot.
According to IDF leadership, the incident occurred near Nasser hospital. Hamas are widely known for using hospitals as cover – knowing that IDF’s practice exempt hospitals, unless extremely needed.
Hamas run health ministry is responsible for updating the count of war victims in the Strip. It said at least, 32,623 have been killed since the ground incursion by IDF, while 75,092 have been wounded since October 7. The health ministry was unable to differentiate between Hamas and innocent civilians. The ministry also include Hamas terrorists and civilian gunmen in the count.
Israel has killed over 14,000 Hamas terrorists, both inside Israel and in Gaza since October 7. The war is still raging, notably in the Southern part of the Strip. The Northern part has been taken, leaving Hamas with nothing but destruction of tunnels.
When the war initially started, Israel lost its troops in numbers, but have learned from experience and declined loss of troops in the Strip. Mostly, Hamas involve only in ambush, because it has lost the capacity to directly engage Israeli troops.
The military capabilities of the group has been massively degraded and their operatives killed. IDF in conjunction with Shin Bet are going on with the targeting of Hamas leadership in and outside of the Strip.
Recently, IDF strike killed the third in command of the group. The terrorist operatives have largely escaped to Rafah, the last remaining city IDF have not invaded. Israel has carried out a rescue operation in Rafah, in which hostages were released by troops.
Intelligence gathered points to the fact that most hostages are kept in Rafah, and used as human shield by Hamas number one. Israel is yet to enter Rafah due to international pressure.
However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has insisted that Rafah will be invaded.
