Read Details Of Israeli Prime Minister’s Latest Secret Call With US President On Gaza War

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is under intense pressure from the US and to avoid giving rumour peddlers room to cause more harm to him or Israel, which could ultimately have adverse effect on his government’s policies in Gaza, he has decided to disclose his latest private call with the United States President.

The call was made few days ago, but due to misinterpretations by third parties and contradictory reports from different news sources, the Prime Minister decided to set the record straight.

The Prime Minister started by declaring that his update was for the people of Israel and not to address rumours and contradictory news about his call “Citizens of Israel, here is a brief update on my most recent call with US President Joe Biden” He said.

He narrated his shared commitment with President Joe Biden which is the common agreement to eliminate Hamas, but indicated they had fallout along the way. The fallout was primarily on the way to achieve the elimination of Hamas and not if Hamas should be eliminated or not.

He disclosed his initial position which he established with Joe Biden, which is “It is impossible to defeat Hamas without IDF entering Gaza Strip” He said that his latest call with his United States counterpart took the same position, that Israel cannot complete the victory over Hamas without entering Rafah.

He also disclosed that he defiantly told US President that he has “approved IDF operational plan in Rafah. He also said he debriefed the President that “soon” he would “approve the plan to evacuate the civilian population” in Rafah.

But the Prime Minister didn’t detail to the public where he intends to move the population of over 1.3 million. If Rafah becomes a war zone, he would need to move the population to northern Gaza, which he refused to do before now.

He delved further into the issue of US demanding a meeting with Israel to outline their own plans for the pending Rafah invasion. He noted that the proposal from US was solely on the humanitarian issue, but didn’t clarify if tactical or military plan that would substitute Israel’s laid out plan was proposed.

He further testified to the disagreement that has marred US-Israel handling of the war. Conforming that Israel would disagree and agree with its strongest ally. In his words “there have been times when we agreed with our friends, and there have been times when we have not agreed with them. In the end, we have always done what is vital for our security, and this is what we will do this time”

That means Israel will go ahead with invasion of Rafah without US approval. Something that would hurt President Joe Biden the most.

He finally confirmed that he told President Joe Biden that IDF would surely enter Rafah irrespective of the pressure coming from Europe and Washington.

“As we are preparing to enter Rafah, and this will take a little time. We are continuing to operate in Khan Youni” He said.
