Reasons You Should Fall In Love With Failure

Daily Tab24: Therapist Corner

Failure has become a slur to most people, but that is because of lack of understanding of what failure is truly. The society fabric or communal culture has contributed to labeling failure a slur and making most people shy away from failure. In most societies; due to the shame that comes when one fails in a particular endeavor, people tend not to try because they don’t want the disgrace of being seen as failure.

As strange as the phrase maybe, falling in love with failure is the bedrock of success. This does not mean one should willingly fail, trying once and becoming successful is as good as failing and trying again until success is achieved. That being the case; I will continue to urge my audiences to plan well to succeed at one try and learn from others failures.

Failure is not a planned outcome, in most cases, it is unexpected outcome, but when it dawns, do not fear or feel ashamed, buckle your shoe and embrace it until success. When you hate failure, you are automatically on a way station to failure. The best approach is to fall in love with failure, this enables one to be unafraid and continue on his mission until success.

I have heard stories of people that loaned money and ventured into business; unfortunately, they failed in the business and went back home. Their stories are simple, they became debtors, poorer and ended up becoming nobody in life. They became failures not necessarily because they failed in the business they ventured in, but because they became afraid of failure and hated failure. They refused to try again because they are afraid of failing.

Compare to the stories of those that loaned funds, ventured into business and went bankrupt. They admitted their failure, embraced it and refused to be afraid of failure. When they became unafraid of failure, they tried again and again and eventually succeeded. That is the difference between a man that hates failure and the one that loves failure.

Failure is not as bad as people think. Instead, failure is a learning curve. Failure is a sister of perfection. When one fails, he learns from his failure and go again. When he fails again, he learns and go again. There is always a new step to climb after failure. There is always a new thing to learn after each failure, and this is an edge over who tried once and succeeded.

A man that failed multiple times will always be more experienced and successful than a man that tried once and succeeded. One falls in love with failure when he sees it as a stepping stone to perfection. Failure is a guarantee of permanent success; because once failed is a lesson learned and cannot repeat or occur.

Failure becomes negative when you fail and dwell in your failure. When you fail and become afraid to fail again. Practically; nobody is a failure because he failed, rather, one becomes a failure because he accepted he failed and stopped failing.

Failure should be a positive energy; it should not deter you or fear you. I t should not worry you, rather you should take pride in your failure and understand you fail because you want to be successful or perfect. When you understand this; you automatically fall in love with failure.
