With no hope of pardon as said by the White House press secretary, Hunter Bide, the first son of President Biden would spend 25 years in prison if found guilty of making false statement in purchase of firearm, making a false statement related to information needed to be kept by a federal forearm licensed dealer. The charges also include a count of possession of firearm by a person who is banned to possess firearm.

The indictment came from Special Counsel David Weiss’ investigation, which came after a plea bargain collapsed at the death. The indictment came after efforts by the DOJ to block Hunter Biden from time in prison, a move that has been seriously criticized by critics. The FBI has refused to provide House Oversight Committee with information regarding the son of the President.

David Weiss indictment of Hunter Biden has been praised by Republicans, but they believe more indictments should be on the way, after a breakthrough against the stonewalling of the investigation against the President’s son.

Details of the indictment reads “on or about October 12, 2018, in the District of Delaware, the defendant, Robert Hunter Biden, in connection with the acquisition of a firearm, that is, a Colt Cobra 38SPL Revolver with serial number RA 551363… knowingly made a false and factious written statement, intended and likely to deceive that dealer with respect to a fact material to the lawfulness of the sale of the firearm… in that the defendant , Robert Hunter Biden, provided a written statement of form 4473 certifying he was not an unlawful user of, and addicted to, any stimulant, narcotic drug, and any other controlled substance, when in fact, as he knew, that statement was false and fictitious’ the indictments disclosed.

“On or about October 12, 2018, through on or about October 23, 2018, in the District of Delaware, the defendant Robert Hunter Biden, knowing that he was an unlawful user of and addicted to any stimulant, narcotic drug, and any other controlled substance… did knowingly possess a firearm, that is, a Colt Cobra 38SPL revolver with serial number RA 551363, said firearm having been shipped and transported in interstate commerce” the indictment added.

The charges pressed against Hunter Biden would see him spend 25 years. Purchase of firearm with a false statement carries up to 10 years in prison , a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release. False statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer can muster up to five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release. Possession of firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, can reach up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release.

A total of 25 years in prison and $750,000 fine will be a significant blow to the political future of Biden and his entire family. it is yet to be seen how the family intends to go about this matter to making sure Biden’s first son is discharged and acquitted.
