Background
Charles has waded in on the religious war between Nigerian pastors. The entrepreneur narrated his experience with Dr. Abel Damina and also highlighted his experience regarding the problem brewing between the two pastors.
Problem began after Pastor Paul Enenche belittled Dr. Abel Damina by calling him ant, for saying he helped Paul to build his Dunamis Church.
Paul Enenche denied his involvement and accused Dr. Abel Damina of trying to take credit where he didn’t sow.
Abel Damina was forced to release videos and documents to prove his mentorship role in building the ministry of Paul Enenche. To the surprise of many, Dr. Abel Damina was right.
Reacting to the issues between the two pastors, Charles urged Nigerians to instead focus on themselves and shouldn’t give much attention to the issue between the two pastors.
He further said the two pastors have succeeded in life, and could make peace tomorrow while Nigerians that had taken side might never make up together at their own detriment.

“I have seen the documents flying around social media showing that a certain father of faith was on the board of trustees of an Abuja based church when they first launched.
I still see young people abusing both fathers depending on whom they support and again, I felt sad that this generation has lost respect for authorities.
The two elders involved in this matter are heavy weights who both influence governments, governors, industry leaders etc. and are known by Presidents etc.
Neither of them is jealous of the other. They both have had a fair share of wealth, power, influence etc beyond what you can imagine. Whatever you see or know about them in public is less than 10% of what they control in real life.
The Uyo based Elder hosted me recently and to be honest with you, I and my team screamed when we saw what he has built – including businesses.
The Abuja based Elder is also Someone that needs no introduction.
I’ve known everything contained in the documents flying around now for many years yet I held both elders in high esteem. I was the first to boldly declare 4 years ago on this platform that Uyo based Elder was the only non family member of the board of trustees for the ministry of the Abuja based Elder. This shows you the level of trust , love and support these two elders enjoyed back then. They helped each other grow. I can authoritatively tell you that one of them slept in the bush at night while travelling to support the other. So before you attack any of them, ask yourself – WHO ARE YOU SOWING YOUR LIFE TO SUPPORT TODAY?
Personally, I have mentored/pastored many giants who no longer publicly acknowledge me. They are still on this platform. Some of them are as popular as the president of a country but they see me host conferences to empower others and would never support. Do I feel bad? Never. Others are helping me to accomplish the mandate upon my life for this generation. But if one of them someday refer to me as an Ant giving birth to an elephant, I think in my human state, I may feel so hurt that I may want to remind them with evidence how they got their first big funding, clients, fame, ministry etc. I won’t do so out of jealousy because I have built enough for myself and my family for the rest of our life. I may do so to demonstrate that even the biggest elephant was once a CALF. That’s what’s playing out now.
One reason why I respect Pastor TD Jakes is that even when Bishop Carlton Pearson started teaching universalism, TD Jakes never allowed anyone around him to insult Bishop Carlton Pearson. In fact, when Bishop Carlton Pearson died recently, TD Jakes publicly cried and mentioned on his page that it was Bishop Carlton Pearson who gave him his biggest ministry platform even though Bishop Carlton later found a new revelation.
As someone who was deeply involved in Pentecostal ministry, I also have people who followed me from my ministry days to my Evolve X days today. Some of them experienced their first encounter under my ministry and they have never dishonored me just because I’m beginning to explain in plain words what were once considered mysteries. I also respect their journey too. Knowledge is progressive.
I’m not writing this to the Elders involved but to you who’s a younger change agent waiting to disrupt your generation, please do not take sides in a fight of two elephants just because you are ignorant of history or deeper things.
Become intentional about relationships…
If you no longer subscribe to the teachings of someone you once followed, do not dishonor them before your new followers.
And if you are a mentor to someone who no longer want to associate with you publicly, remember that everything you sacrificed for them was done out of love. You may feel hurt but look back, you have people who still honour you. Let it go.
