Hamas wants Israel to stop attacks in Gaza to foster negotiation

The Palestinian armed group has blamed Israel for the stalling hostage deal negotiation, noting that the continued attacks across Gaza is not helping with negotiation.

Hamas directly accuses Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of not doing enough to make the hostage deal a success.

The group further warned that the ongoing war across Gaza Strip could change the whole equation.

Ismail Haniyeh warned that “Catastrophic consequences of what is happening in Gaza” will ultimately change the mind of the group or harden it.

He opined it could “reset the negotiation process to square one”. The threat comes as the hostage deal negotiation is reaching a closing stage. Breakthrough had occured, after Hamas softened their ground of insisting outright end of the war.

He further said that the world should hold Benjamin Netanyahu responsible if a deal fails.

The group often wants to been seen as the people pushing for a ceasefire, while blackmailing Israel in that process. The threat to end negotiation is being blamed on Israel by the group.

The group has also spoken to the mediators about their dissatisfaction with the way the war is still raging across the Strip. Warning Qatar and Egypt against the broadening war.

In recent days, Israel has significantly pushed deeper into Gaza, and ordered new operations in areas they previously left. Israel also ordered evacuations, which further inflicts pains on non-combatant figures.

Hamas has shown lack of consideration for civilians in Gaza, as they continue to intentionally put Gazans in harm’s way.

The terrorist group have embedded their terror infrastructures in the civilian infrastructures. They have also attacked Israeli Defence Forces from civilian homes, making the homes and civilian infrastructures legitimate military target.

The idea of using civilians as human shield has become a permanent strategy for the terrorist organisation.

Each time Hamas attacks Israel from civilian populated areas, the IDF calls for evacuations to save lives. On Sunday, evacuation of Old City, Tuffah and Daraj was announced.

The “immediate” evacuation order was labeled crime against Gazans by the terrorist group. The group also said the move is aimed at thwarting efforts to end the war.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been accused of wanting to go on with the war to save his government.

Opposition in Israel also accused the Prime Minister of considering his political career before making a decision. The political undertone according to the opposition has led to inability to reach agreement with Hamas.

Netanyahu said the objectives of the war must be completed before ending the war. Despite embracing negotiations and sending out negotiators, the Prime Minister insists ending the war is a non-starter.

Millions of people have been crammed into a smaller place in the Strip. IDF continues to order for more evacuations.

Some Palestinians are no longer finding it easy with Hamas, blaming them for hiding behind civilians to fight.

Humanitarian aid has somethings gone into the hands of the terrorist groups, which they often take advantage of, leaving civilians to die.
