“Dear Zion Members, If Nobody Tells You, I’ll Tell You; Pagans Are Far Better Than You. The Attitudes Of Some Of You Sɱεll Like Rꝍttǝη Eggs, Your Heart Is Far From God. Repent And Seek First The Kingdom Of God” Fr Kelvin Ugwu says.
Fr. Kelvin Ugwu is a Catholic Priest, who has been a vocal critic of what he termed “wrongs” in the Christian faith.
Problem began after he accused Zion Ministry founder, Ebuka Obi of deceptions. He accused him of founding his ministry on lies.
In a long narrative on his Facebook official page few days ago, he lambasted Zion Ministry founder of taking advantage of Catholic Church to attract members.
Though, Ebuka Obi didn’t directly counterattack or responded to the rants of the priest, but his members took to social media to reign insults on the Catholic priest.
They accused him of jealousy and called him derogatory names. The attack was sustained over time, pushing the priest to reply the members of the ministry.
Ebuka Obi has cut a controversial figure in the public space after sequence of issues, which began with the imprisonment of Ijele Speaks, a social media activist in Nigeria.
Ijele Speaks accused the pastor of fake miracles and deceptions, prompting the pastor to use his high wire contacts in the police to pick him up. He is currently languishing in a correctional center.
Ebuka Obi has often mobilized his members to go after critics, and at a point openly threatened to fight his critics.
The pastor remains a controversial figure, and recently bought off Mountain of Fire Ministry Church located next to his auditorium.
His members celebrated the bought off and danced on the rumbs of the church that was demolished after completing the purchase.
Ebuka Obi came out and apologised to Mountain of Fire founder and accused bloggers of maliciously raising issues that are not true.
The raging issue with Fr. Ugwu led to a long reply to members of Zion Ministry of his official Facebook.
“Insults Or Words That Those Who Parade Themselves As Zionist Have Used On Me So Far” the priest wrote before listing them and accompanied it with his views and further advise.

I think the insult missing here is “Ashawo”. It is usually a Nigerian thing to call people Ashawo. I guess it is because I am not a woman that is why they have not used Ashawo yet.
Usually, as I count my blessings, I also count my insults too. I have screenshots of all the above insults and the people that used them so you don’t think I made them up.
Now I leave you to judge for yourself. But the important question to ask is: what exactly did I say or do to warrant those name-calling?
Simple…
I told them that at the beginning of the formation of the Zion ministry, Ebuka Obi deceived many of them into believing that the prayer ministry was a Catholic prayer ministry. Then I told them again that the Archbishop of Lagos did not approve of the ministry. Ebuka himself is not to receive communion in the Catholic church.
The conclusion is that, as Catholics, we must follow the directions of the Chief shepherd of the diocese – in this case, the Archbishop of Lagos. And if you choose not to obey him, you can as well join Zion and stop parading yourself as a Catholic at the same time.
This is the summary of what necessitated these unfounded insults from people who claim to be fasting for 100 days, and doing prayer and adoration day and night.
Dear Zion members, If nobody tells you, I will tell you. The attitudes of some of you smell like rotten eggs. It stinks. Pagans are far better than you. You are the modern-day Pharisees who pray and fast but your heart is far from God and what he teaches. Repent and seek first the Kingdom of God. Stop chasing miracles and prophecies. It is not too late to retrace your steps.
I have attached again the picture of your minister that some of you have deified. I am doing this to challenge and dare all those lawyers of yours who said they would sue me for using his picture to please go ahead and do it quickly.”
