Israeli Prime Minister regrets what U.S is doing to Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had for the umpteenth time disclosed that the administration of Joe Biden is withholding weapons and ammunition to Israel.
President Joe Biden’s administration has said it stopped shipment of particular weapon to Israel, while insisting that they are sending other ammunition and weapons to Israel.
In what appears to be a disparity, Israel Government said the administration of President Joe Biden is significantly withholding weapons and ammunition that has largely affected the successful and timely execution of the war.
The disclosure was made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, days after United States Secretary of State visited Israel.
Antony Blinken has been on regular visit to Israel since the war began. He also shuttles to Egypt, Qatar and other Middle East countries.
His trips to the Middle East is to avoid escalations, and to also bring about a hostage deal. His efforts is the central or priority of the administration to bring an end to the war.
The initial deal that led to the release of more than 100 hostages was influenced by United States, but efforts to bring about another deal is proving a hard nut to crack.
“When Secretary Blinken was recently here in Israel, we had a candid conversation, I said I deeply appreciated the support the U.S. has given Israel from the beginning of the war” The Prime Minister discloses while making a public statement.
“But I also said something else, I said it’s inconceivable that in the past few months, the administration has been withholding weapons and ammunitions to Israel” he adds.
The United States have been the main ally of Jerusalem supplying it with weapons and ammunition to execute the war against Hamas.
After Hamas invaded Israel for its murderous mission, they promised to carry out another attack of same proportion until Israel is taken off the map of the world.
Initially, President Joe Biden vowed to help Israel destroy Hamas, but after months of pressure from the left, the administration began to shift from the agreed mission.
With students protest across the universities of the country, and threats of electoral disloyalty, Biden succumbed to the left by denying Israel precision guided weapons.
While speaking on the then and sustained policy to deny Israel of weapons and ammunition.
The U.S administration said only one particular type of weapon was withheld, but from the words of Israel Prime Minister, it appears weapons and ammunition withheld are significant.
He reminded US that Israel is its closest ally and the fight’s purpose.
“Israel, America’s closest ally, fighting for its life, fighting against Iran and our other common enemies”
Iran is the major sponsor of Hamas and other terrorist organisation fighting against Israel. These terrorist organisations are driven by the belief that Israel should be destroyed and chased out of its ancestral land.
Netanyahu further said that he was promised that the restrictions will be lifted. The promise was made by Antony Blinken, whom Netanyahu said “assured” him relentless effort is being made to restore shipment of weapons.
“Secretary Blinken assured me that the administration is working day and night to remove these bottlenecks. I certainly hope that’s the case. It should be the case” he said.
Netanyahu subtly blamed United States under Joe Biden as being the reason the war is still lingering. He opined that had U.S delivered the weapons and ammunition, Israel had had finished the war before now.
“During World War II, Churchill told the United States, Give us the tools, we’ll do the job. And I say, give us the tools and we’ll finish the job a lot faster.”
Currently, Joe Biden is talking about ceasefire. The two leaders appears to be opposing each other.
While Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants the war to go on and conclude on the objectives of Israeli Government, President Joe Biden wants a ceasefire that will lead to end of the war.
