The war Hamas started on October 7 has shaped the entire Middle East and poses a threat to regional war.
When Hamas invaded Israel and killed more than one thousand Israelis, they didn’t envisage the consequences they are seeing today.
They rightly calculated their actions but wrongly calculated the consequences of those actions that they took on October 7. The war has lingered far more than imagined, and the toll is immeasurable on Gazans.
Iran is the head of all the axis of terror fighting to extinguish Israel. The existential threat Israel faces is the brainchild of Iran.
Since the Islamic Republic was captured by the extremists whose determination is to see the light of Israel extinguished, the once peaceful and liberal country became a threat to the world, sponsoring terrorists and fighting a religious war that has taken a significant toll on mankind.
The Islamic Republic is behind everything that Hamas did on October 7, but little did they know that the repercussion would be this immense. It has failed to help Hamas on the ground; instead, it has stayed far away and shamelessly made rhetoric that has helped neither Hamas nor itself.
The Hamas they nurtured are being dismantled without mercy, and the leaders of the terrorist group have not gotten a single help from the terrorist headquarters of the world.
Iran has distanced itself from Hamas in the public, but behind, it gives the terrorist organisation everything it needs.
It will host the leaders of the terrorist organisation and help supply it with components for making bombs.
The plan is to choke Israel and fight it with its proxies. Iran is afraid of comfronting Israel in an open war, and the proxies are the perfect alternatives for the journey the Islamic Republic will never accomplish.
Recently, it allowed a reformist president to win office, despite many years of having hardliners occupy the political apex office of the country. although the real apex office of the Islamic Republic is the office of the Supreme Leader, a religious office that controls the country, including the president. By embracing an obvious reformist president who is not a hardliner, it shows that the sanctions and many actions aimed at taming the Islamic Republic are working.
Iran will never stop dreaming of the extermination of Israel from the face of the earth because it sees it as a religious mission that must be completed.
The new president has said the door is open for all except Israel, which shows that he is still under the control and influence of the Supreme Leader. While the new Iranian president believes in reforms, the supreme leader believes Israel is an immortal enemy.
Every day for Israel is about fighting for the continuation of its existence, and that fight is taking a significant toll on Israel itself.
Israel is like a child in the midst of immortal enemies and had to fend or stay awake all the rest of his life because any blink will lead to devastation. The devastation is waiting and keeps coming, while Israel continues to fend it off.
In Gaza, there is a war going on against a terrorist organisation that stormed Israel and killed, raped, and left a message of extermination had it not been waged.
The world is speaking about the war and often blames Israel, but that is due to the inability to critically assess the situation of the people of Israel. Israel was pushed to the wall on October 7, and it decided to fight to stay alive. How on earth could someone speak negatively about existential war?
Hamas invaded and killed as many as they could, raped women, and murdered children before kidnapping over 200 people. That is what they planned—to kidnap as many as possible to use them as a bargain.
They knew Israel would come for them, and they would use the kidnapped to negotiate for their lives. Today, they are strongly holding onto the hostages to demand Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
Knowing that it’s an existential war, Israeli leaders have chosen their existence over surrender. Hamas had vowed to conduct another October 7 again and again, and the hostages are their ticket for the next October 7.
They are insisting that the hostages will be used to end the war, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who looks at the future more than he looks at today, has insisted that the war will not end and has decided to embrace the military option to release the hostages.
The Israeli army is fighting in Gaza to return the hostages and eliminate Hamas, but the war has not been easy with external pressure and the United Nations fighting to stop the war. By stopping the war, Israel’s objective will be aborted, which could lead to more October 7, and that is the main argument that has led to the insistence of the Israeli government.
Nobody wants the war to continue, but Hamas terrorists have refused to surrender, which has not helped the Strip. While the pressure is on Israel to end the war, no significant pressure has been put on Hamas to surrender. The surrendering of Hamas will lead to the immediate end of the war.
It’s a complicated situation for Israel because Hamas has embedded itself in the civilians, and to get the Hamas leaders, civilians are often touched. On the other hand, should Israel withdraw, Hamas will prepare for another October 7.
Israel wants to live in peace, but Hamas, who are financed by Iran, wants Israel obliterated from the face of the earth, and with such a mission, there is practically no room for peace.
Iran has been disgraced time after time, with the latest being the killing of a Hamas leader in the heart of the country. Yet, the Islamic Republic has not called for Hamas to surrender.
Israel will not stop fighting to stay alive and won’t stop defending itself. In Yemen, the Houthis are fighting Israel. In Lebanon, Hezbollah is fighting Israel. In the Gaza Strip, Hamas is fighting Israel. In Iran, the whole country is fighting Israel, while the job of Israel is defence, and nobody should negatively pressure a desperate man fighting to stay alive.
