Accused: chilling story of a s*x predator in Anambra State
Africa is one of the most dangerous places for a girl child. They continue to face prevalent se*xual abuse every day.
In Anambra State, a crushing and chilling story of a beastly father who subjected his child to perpetual abuse surfaced, but little attention was given to the expose.
The abuse began from his wife to his child. The most painful aspect of it is the child’s age. Three years old child being in the picture is excruciatingly painful.
Some say it has more to do with occultism than pedophilia. They fear the pedophile has powers. In this case, a tout who lives by intimidation is the perpetrator.
Touts in Nigeria are highly connected due to the dirty jobs they do for politicians. They control motor parks and make millions of Naira. They are feared due to the number of miscreants and criminals they control.
The narrator has taken time to act defensively. The perpetrator stand accused, but despite the claim of evidence, no investigation has been ordered. The story is likely to die like many others.
“See the 62 year old beast of a father who defiled his 3 years old little innocent daughter in Anambra state.” The narrator began his text with a picture of the perpetrator.
A fair, handsome man with well shaved grey beards. His circle styled shave gave him a rich appearance. His well creamed body is enough whisper that he is not lacking.
He tucked plain glasses, not for fashion, or to conceal his preferred sightings. It could be to correct eye defects. But whatever the reason could be, the glass gave him a touch of gentility.
In the background, parked a car, it belongs to him. At his age and standing, he can not boast with another man’s car. With a gold chain and a silver pendant, he posed flamboyantly for a picture.
His red cap and well tucked on his head, white sown fitted ‘senator’ wear, and a native wrist bangle captured a picture of a respectable man. But inside lives a vampire that feasts on the weak.
“His name is MAGNUS ODIDIKA OKPALANNADI. He lives at No 13 Abba Street omagba phase 2, in Onitsha, Anambra state, ” a long narrative posted across WhatsApp said. The narrator is anonymous but provided the address and picture of the perpetrator.
Dailytab24 visited the above address but couldn’t meet the said man, although it was confirmed he truly lives on the address.
There is no need to question the story. Abuse of girl-child in Nigeria is prevalent. The heinous crime continues to be committed, with punishments being rarely handed down.
Those who commit this crime often pay off or wriggle out of the case with their high wire connect. They often threaten victims to stay silent forever as well and make life unbearable for parents.
When they are not threatening, parents fail to take good care of their wards. They barely check on them or monitor them. The girl-child ends up living silent and guilt all her life.
“He is a dangerous thug and a well-known motor park tout in Onitsha, who has been in and out of prison.” Well into the category of the people that commit such crime. Ex-convict or whatever, these touts work for politicians and the corrupt class who always come to their aid to evade justice.
“This devil of a father has continuously subjected his little innocent daughter and wife to physical and psychological trauma for far too long without consequence. He didn’t only defile the innocent girl but has been sexually molesting her repeatedly since God knows when” the life of a girl-child in Africa is filled with vile and traumas. She is abused beyond her capacity and even physically abused.
“According to the little girl, ‘daddy used to touch my b×m b×m. He puts his fingers in my b×m b×m. He puts his tongue in my bum bum.’ This is the reality of her situation. It is a heartbreaking, crushing, and callous situation. She is helpless.
“If you see the vag×na of this little girl, you will weep your eyes out.
Her vag×na looks like that of a fully grown adult woman who has been s×xually active for years. ” The physical situation can be seen, but the emotional state is immeasurable. The traumatic experience waiting for her. The torture waiting for her, it’s just the beginning and her life destroyed before it even began.
“I have evidence, i have pictures. I have videos of this little girl to back up my claims. But for her innocence, sanity, image, and her future, i refuse to post it. ” The narrator took a good decision. What is left of the child should be protected at all cost. She deserves that bit of security and public shame.
“The pedophile of a father kept threatening the mother of the child not to speak up. If she does or makes any noise about it anywhere, he will kill her. If she runs from the house, he will send his thugs to eliminate her anywhere she runs to”
Pedophiles often employ everything they have to buy silent. They put in everything because they know what they did or doing, but such threat to womanhood deserves not to walk around in public.
“He is a known tout in Anambra state, a thug leader that is very active in dirty dealings. The woman has been living in perpetual fear because he is violent and has been physically assaulting her for years. ” The risk is lofty, victims could be murdered before they speak up. They are still at risk of being murdered afterwards.
The aggressor is a deadly human who engages in all sorts of illegal dealings. It’s a leverage for him, and the odds are all stacked against the victims.
They have been consigned and cornered. They can not speak up because of fear. There is no guarantee of security. And when they juxtapose, it’s better to stay alive and endure than die for speaking up.
The victims lose their sense of judgment, forgetting that once the matter is sufficiently made public, the aggressor can not fulfil his threat.
“Dear Anambrarians, it’s time to call a spade a spade. This monster can not be allowed to live freely amongst the good people of Anambra state. Action must be taken, and justice must be served, ” the narrator wrote. He knows mass action or campaign is needed to force state prosecutors into action.
“He has got 4 daughters with his wife, but nobody knows the reason why 2 ran away from his house to live with their relatives in other states. Up until today, they refused to say anything. Even his little daughter that he defiled, whenever she sees him or if he calls her to come, she will run away. She will tell him she won’t come, that he will touch her b*m b*m”
That is clear evidence, a father has become a threat to his own daughter. Nobody would want to stay with such father. If the toddler starts running now, for how long will she run in her life?
“His wife took the girl to the hospital for medical check up, because she couldn’t walk very well. The doctor checked her and confirmed that she had been deflowered. He asked who was responsible, and she told him it’s her husband. The doctor refused to give her a medical report. He told her that if he gives her a medical report, the husband will end up in prison for life.”
The problem of most families is their inability to call a spade a spade. They often hide because they rely on the perpetrators for survival. And when a perpetrator committs a heinous crime of se*ual abuse, they are shielded by family members and doctors.
Doctors also abet these perpetrators in certain cases. They advise the victim’s parent to go home and address the matter. Urging them that it’s a family disgrace if made public, and the husband being the breadwinner could be imprisoned for life.
Most of these perpetrators hide their wealth from their families, making sure that their wives and children are fed daily by them to enable them to sustain control of the families. This situation places victims in a difficult corner, where they can’t take decision against the perpetrators.
“She was too scared to speak up or run. Because the man whom she called her husband is very deadly. All the times and places she tried to seek for help, she couldn’t”
Speaking up is one of the hardest things to do because odds are quite against victims. The fear instilled in them is a catalyst for silence.
“Someone she told her ordeal secretly reached out to me. So i took time to plan for her escape from the house, the rescue of the little girl to a safe place. It took us some time to plan. I told her not to be scared, that we would get justice. Such a man is not a husband or father. That he is a beast and a threat to the society, “the narrator continued.
Mostly, victims confide in people they can speak with to ease their burden. They speak with a pledge that they shouldn’t speak out, but with a cool head, the third party leaks the crime.
This time, this third party took time to plan and execute the extraction of the victims. Now safe, they can speak out and tell the world the hell they have been passing through.
“I call on the Governor of Anambra state @CCSoludo to intervene.
I call on the wife of the governor to intervene. I call on the commissioner of women and social affairs in Anambra state @IfyObinabo to intervene. I called on the police @PoliceNG to intervene. I call on the Anambra state @policeAnambraNG command to intervene. I call on NAPTIP @naptipnigeria to intervene. I call on all women’s rights and gender rights groups to come intervene, ” the rescuer wrote.
Only the attention of the main actors in government and notable nongovernmental organisations can pin down the perpetrator because he is feared.
“Magnus Odidika Okpalannadi must not escape justice. All we seek is justice for the little girl and protection for her mother. I have all the evidence, and i am willing to give it out. The girl is in a safe location where i smuggled her to. While her mother is currently in hiding in another location, ”
There is a passionate call that must be heeded. There is a convincing outcry. If evidence is abundant, then investigation is desperately needed.
“They are both ready to speak up, and the girl should be subjected to a proper medical test for confirmation.
I will also need the help of well-meaning Nigerians and the government to help in relocating the defiled girl and her mother to another state.
Due to stigmatization and fear of attack by his gang, ” the narrator finally wrote.
The situation is critical, and the threatening at the same time. The perpetrator can not be allowed to go scot-free or use his contacts to wriggle out of the case as usual.
He has had cases and remanded in prison, but always come out, and this must have given him the false belief that he would always get out of his self-predicaments.
The victims feared if they spoke out that they would die. Their confidant spoke out and took them into hiding. They can not hide forever, and as long as the perpetrator walks free, they will continue to hide.
The safety of the victims is dependent on the prosecution and punishment of the perpetrator. If the government fails to take up the matter aggressively, the whistle-blower and the victims will pay dearly for their beautiful deeds – to speak up.
This is not the first time s*x predators have been called out and gone scot-free. There have been cases in which they use their contacts to escape judgment.
In Nigeria, touts of this level have secrets of top politicians. They have done many dirty jobs for them, and it place them in illegal immunity.
This illegal immunity shields them from prosecution to avoid disclosing the dirty jobs they have done for the top brass in politics.
Justice is needed. It’s crucial in this case. Only justice can save the day.
