Again, Iran vows to obliterate Israel if it attacks Hezbollah

MIDDLE-EAST —- Iran has vowed to take the war to another level which its United Nations mission called “full-scale military aggression” if Israel dares attack Hezbollah. It further tagged the war in Lebanon “obliterating war” against Israel.
The vow came after weeks of intensified exchanges of fire between Hezbollah and Israel in the northern area of the border between Israel and Lebanon.
“All options, the full involvement of all Resistance Fronts, are on the table,” the mission wrote in a post on X formerly known as Twitter on Friday evening.
Israel has raised the bar of its threat to attack Hezbollah who has been firing rockets at Israel since October 8. The Lebanon based terrorist organisation said the fire was in support of Hamas, and would stop firing once Israel ends its war in Gaza.
When Iran talks about “Resistance Fronts” it comprises of all the terrorist groups in the Middle-East that fights Israel under Iranian support.
The terrorist groups have the sole aim of destroying Israel and restoring Palestinian rule from the Jordan river to the sea.
Iran doesn’t believe that Israel will go to war with Hezbollah in Lebanon, calling it a “psychological warfare” Tehran believes Israel is trying to use propaganda to deter Hezbollah.
Israel appears to be seeking for diplomatic way to push Hezbollah elite forces off the border.
Israel has only been using warplanes to target Hezbollah leaders and infrastructures. The firing is strictly limited, with full-scale war to involve maneuvering.
This morning being Saturday, Israel confirmed its warplanes are conducting strikes in Southern Lebanon.
According to Israeli media, IDF spokesman made the confirmation in his Saturday speech to the public.
“In the past few hours, warplanes attacked several Hezbollah targets, including a military site for the organisation in the Zabqin area, two operational infrastructure sites in the Khiam area, and a Hezbollah building in the al-Adissa [Odaisseh] area,”
The operation conducted by IDF warplanes has not successfully kept Hezbollah quiet, and neither has it been able to return evacuated residents.
Gallant said Israel is capable of sending Lebanon back to stone age, but reemphasised that Israel is willing to embrace diplomatic solution to the problem in the north of the country.
Israeli Prime Minister commented recently that Israel is preparing for intense operation in the north. This claim contradicts the diplomatic approach Gallant said Israel is for.
US has also warned that Iran and its terror proxies will join the war. Washington also said it would not directly get involve in confrontation, but that it prefers diplomatic solution.
There is broader plea for calm and diplomacy in Europe. France had volunteered to draft solution for the skirmishes in the north, but it appears nothing is working.
Israeli President spoke recently and complained disappointedly that the world is doing nothing to stop Hezbollah.
Yet, Israel keeps reinforcing the northern border, with war most likely now than before.
Hezbollah will not stop firing at Israel until war in Gaza halts. And the leadership of Hezbollah has said if Israel attacks, Hezbollah will fight without rules and lines.
