Meet A Rising Politician – Chukwemeziem Wisdom Opara

When I picked my phone to check the name of the UK based activist, whose activism mirrors that of a potential political leader who wants to make a difference in his country of origin. I quickly thought about the concept of replication.

Here, there is a rising political figure who wants to replicate the development and the basics of what begot United Kingdom of today.

There is a different mentality when a politician who studied, lived and experienced a developed country decides to get involve in the politics his third world country.

The driving force is always the desire to make his country of origin like the advanced country he has experienced. No sane man should relax in another man’s good home, because his home is turn apart.

The very advantage for African politics with a Disporan is the knowledge of what works where he lived. And then, when such figure puts his head down to know why his country of origin is not as the country he experienced, then there is a drive to making a difference or to replicate.

Even at the end of the day, if the experience didn’t fully replicate what was known, it can go a long way setting a standard that will lead to a significant replicate over time.

Chukwuemeziem Wisdom Opara is a UK based care giver, whose education to become a professional nurse is nearing completion.

He has lived in UK for some years and have invested his time in knowing and finding out how politics is practiced in UK.

Often speaking about UK, he noted that UK was not planned and managed by angels but human beings like him. Then, he questioned, are Nigerian leaders less human?

That is where the challenge comes in, with the big dream of turning Nigeria around for better. A dream that goes beyond Nigeria.

A journey of one thousand miles starts with a step, it doesn’t matter how difficult or irrelevant the step is, it would still be counted as the beginning that won the laurel.

The challenge that faces the idea of bringing change to a country that has long been gripped by stangant syndrome, is massive, but can be conquered.

There is determination and that determination is the difference. Where many Nigerian politicians came and failed is because of lack of plan and determination.

Chukwemeziem Wisdom Opara is not blind to the lofty challenges of reshaping a country like Nigeria. He is neither moved by it, but where there is determination, there is will.

While he is currently focused on giving political advice and suggestions to African leaders and Nigerian leaders, he sees it as the bedrock of something great.

There must be harmony and understanding of the fact that there must be peaceful atmosphere and strategic coordination that must be factored into the ideology of replication.

Charity begins at home, and that informed his decision to patiently and humbly begin from somewhere.

The journey is on, and the destination is inevitable. What is the driver is dream, determination, hard work, and consistency.
