The governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti, has dismissed his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Kazie Uko.
Mr Okey Kanu, the Commissioner for Information conveyed this to newsmen after the State Executive Council meeting chaired by the governor on Wednesday.
Though, the reason for the sudden event was not disclosed
He added that, Mr Ukoha Njoku Ukoha has been appointed as the new chief press secretary to the governor.
Mr Okey Kanu who disclosed this information said, ”Gov. Alex Otti in a bid to rejig the media ecosystem of his administration has approved the appointment of a new Chief Press Secretary and his name is Mr Ukoha Njoku Ukoha.
”Mr Ukoha brings a lot of experience in advocacy and media management and of course his flair for writing to his new job.
”Gentlemen of the press you will be working with the new Chief Press Secretary in the days ahead.”
