150 rockets launched, Israel under renewed intense attack from Hezbollah

On Wednesday morning, Israel’s Army Radio reported two barrages of rockets totalling 150 were fired at Israel.

The rockets headed randomly at different locations. More that 69 were directed at the area of Meron.

The cities of Safed and Tiberias were among those where rocket sirens blared. All over the Northern Israel appears to be targeted.

This is the highest barrage ever targeted at Israel by Hezbollah since the war in Gaza began.

Israel is not directly at war with Hezbollah, the Iran terrorist proxy began what was a skirmish at the Northern border after war broke out between Hamas and IDF.

“Following the sirens that sounded in northern Israel a short while ago, approximately 90 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon,” the IDF stated.

“A number of the projectiles were intercepted and others fell in several locations in northern Israel. As a result, fires broke out in a number of areas. The details are under review”

The IDF made interceptions with rockets sirens blaring and places that have not had rockets sirens experienced them the first time.

Most rockets that escaped interceptions fell on open areas, causing blazes. The Israel fire service had been mobilized.

Hezbollah confirmed the killing of its most senior commander in Israeli targeted strike yesterday in Lebanon.

The two barrages of rockets totalling 150 is seen as significant retaliation. The Iran terror proxy is extremely angered by the loss of its prominent commander.

The rockets were launched within the space of 30 minutes, and IDF has quickly targeted the launch cites. The terrorist decided to engage in massive rocket fire to pass a message of deterrence.

Israel has for long been targeting Hezbollah commanders and members. The terror group continues to lose its members to relentless Israeli strikes in Lebanon.

No injuries have been reported so far and no significant hit on military infrastructure or residential building. The rockets that made it to Israel fell on open areas.

Previously,  Hezbollah rocket fire had ignited a fire that burned more than a day. Forcing Israel’s firefighters into a major fight to douse the blaze that threatened wildlife and infrastructures in the North.

Hezbollah often claim that they target military bases and infrastructures, but that has proven to be lie. The terrorist organisation target the entirety of Northern Israel with reckless abandon.

Israel relocated citizens from the North to other parts of Israel as a precaution. The move has significantly denied Hezbollah from recording civilian casualties.

Israeli Defence Forces have moved in to counterattack the terrorist organisation.

Israel has played the patient game with Hezbollah, choosing to embrace retaliatory strategy, against incursion into Lebanon to restore security to the North.

Troops were amassed on the border, with mock drills carried out for a potential defense mission in Lebanon.

Israel has been urged to embrace diplomatic solution to the aggression coming from the North. But it appears diplomatic solution is not yielding the expected the result.

Prime Minister Benjamin has promised to restore security to the North. He said either by military confrontation or diplomatic thrust, the reality of the North must change.
