Slave Masters Returned To Africa In Religious Leaders – Opinion
Whoever thought it could be possible in 21st century – that slave masters could return to Africa, after centuries of abolishment of slavery?
We remember what they did to us four hundred years ago. Of course, through the power of imagination, when we see those gray pictures of half-nude men and women under ropes and chains, we feel every ounce of the pains they felt.
We became vigilant and prepared, we knew how they came before. We heard the stories and read them. How they came with mirror and spoon, when we were using leaves for spoon and fellows for mirrors. They showed us new inventories, and tricked us into slavery. We heard the true and untrue stories.
We heared how they came with guns and machetes and pummelled our lands. We heard how they killed our ancestors who opposed them, and challenged their colonial intent from the beginning. We heard about the fights and the conspiracies. We heard the true and untrue stories. So, we were ready after the abolishment, waiting to stop them, incase they show up again.
We heard how they came with plea and promises. How they promised us heaven and earth. We heard how they sneaked in and turned us against ourselves. We heard how they came with a Trojan Horse and penetrated us. We heard everything and were ready after the abolishment of slavery.
No foreigner would come again. We would fight and stop them. Slavery is over, we are a free people in a free world. They cannot come in any form, because we know all the means they had used to penetrate us. We are watchful, but our alertness is our undoing. Our naivety is our weakness. We focused outside, waiting for them, without purging ourselves of the system.
They didn’t come because they knew we were ready and waiting. They didn’t come because they were afraid. They didn’t come because they left their system behind, and their system is controlled automatically. It’s an automated system that functions on it’s own.
Religious leaders are the service system, but we couldn’t see it then and now. You watch how they subject their wards to lace their shoes. We see how they subject their members to accept abuse with containment. We watch how African children see them as infallible. We watch how they have enthroned themselves in same breath as God.
What is the difference between a slave master and a pastor? The former is accused of molestation, his wards forbids the victim. The latter is accused of molestation, his members forbid the victim.
The former subject his slaves to work for him and take all the fruits of his labours. The latter subject his members through tithe, offering, seed and donations to surrender all the fruits of his labours.
Slave masters nutured slaves to believe everything they says and obey their command. Religious leaders order their members to obey their commandments, even against their wills. There is practically no gainsaying that neo-slavery is in play in Africa.
Africans wait for chains and ropes, but they have been substituted by words and indoctrination – leading to the most dangerous form of slavery – mental slavery. The slave masters didn’t leave without a fight, they left behind their system that still operates without physical harm. Your pastors and fathers are the service men of the system.
