Genocide Alert: Genocide Being Carried Out In Okuoma By Nigerian Troops
By Dailytab24.
Okuoma community in Delta State will be exterminated if the Nigerian government doesn’t call Nigerian troops on retaliatory mission in the community to order. The soldiers have failed to act within the confines of the law, as they are having a field day of genocide in the community. Setting homes ablaze and threatening to do more.
The genocide is specifically being carried out by 181 Amphibious Battalion of the Nigerian Army. They are currently engaged in the acts in Okuoma, an act equivalent to Odi massacre, Dailytab24 can authoritatively confirm. Nigerian Army is in what could be best described as retaliatory measure against innocent Nigerian citizens of Okuoma.
The horrors of Odi massacre are back in Okuoma following the murder of Nigerian soldiers that had gone to the community on peace keeping mission. The murder of the soldiers was done by militants operating in the community against the narrative that it was carried out by the youths of the community.
“Militants don’t reside at home or with the innocent people of the community. They live in the creeks and come out when they want to act. But the Nigerian military have internally ordered invasion of the community, setting ablaze and killing everybody within range of their fire” Tamuna, our correspondent following the matter reported.
“I am getting reports that the troops are on deadly mission, setting homes ablaze with people inside and shooting sporadically while children and women scamper to safety. There is actually no safe place for the people, and neither escape route as the sea and roads have been blocked. The military are reportedly said to be angry, and vowed to take down anything that moves in the community” he continues.
Nigerian soldiers were ordered to arrest the culprits, but the mission has spiraled out of control, with homes targeted and youths arrested at random. The soldiers are reluctant to take prisoners; hence number of victims of genocide is mountain every minute.
Problem began after the murder of 12 soldiers and their commanding officer who came for peace mission in the community. The Nigerian Army was later charged by the Chief of Army Staff to invade the community and arrest the culprits. The invasion was not expected to be genocidal; and instead of raid the suspects, the Army embarked on collective punishment that has resulted in genocide.
While recording footage of burning houses, soldiers could be heard from the background saying the community will learn a lesson, but if the community is exterminated, who will then learn?
Nigerian Army knows the terrain of the militants that attacked the soldiers, but decided to concentrate on innocent people who neither know nor are part of the militants. The creeks are the harbors of the militants, quite far from homes the soldiers are attacking. But the soldiers have not dared the creeks; instead, they chose to invade innocent people of the community.
There is sea and land blockade while the genocide is being carried out, as the Army attacked from land, sea and air without exception.
