If ANC will be toppled or replaced as South African ruling party, it would take more than mere rascality and ego-driven approach to achieve. Despite the challenges facing the country under ANC, there is no serious alternative party in sight.

Political Parties with alternative aspirations falter every now and then, and on 10th anniversary of the ANC breakaway party, EFE, instead of build on gains, the party shrinks further – potentially losing her members.

Malema is creating cracks within the party and threatening party members he felt came short of their roles as stalwarts. “Let them go” he replied to insinuation that members of EFE could defect to ANC over his outburst – poor approach or tactics of party-building – “why must I think I have 10 people when I have 5, let me plan with the 5 I have” he continued.

With clear obsession and admission of his party’s struggles he indicated his interest to play the odd games of politics “let me struggle with the people who brought buses to the FNB, who shut down the stadium, those are my soldiers” he said, neglecting the numbers he should be chasing or pinning down.

Malema’s soldiers have often adopted the idea of bullying ANC members and other opposition parties. EFE has often tried to exhibit youthful exuberance and fought everyone at any given opportunity instead of calmly politick their way to toppling the ruling party that had ruled over the years under Nelson Mandela’s influence.

“If I were them, I would resign” He said about representatives of the party that couldn’t aid the transportation of members of the party to the 10th anniversary venue. “The EFE has 1,200 public representatives and 400 of them don’t get a single bus, how are they helping the growth of the organization, what value are they bringing” His fire rhetoric – that divides instead of gum the party members together, even in negligence of duty, continued.

It would not end as he said –not a normal rebuke – he would call for hearing. His party would probe the actions of the representatives that didn’t pay for buses. Malema doesn’t care about the influence of the party members, nor the respect they had asked of him.

One of the most significant party members, Khoza, whose influence skyrocketed the party’s electoral gains by more than 400% joined the recipients of Malema’s criticism and outburst. Khoza had noted the cost of conveying party members as expected of him was high, but Malema was not ready to take excuses. He noted that cost differs and should not be a reason representatives failed to show solidarity or support the party’s anniversary.

Malema further threatened to force representatives that failed to bus in people to the anniversary venue to relinquish their positions. “They will be listened to one by one from next week, and then the rest of them are going to be requested to leave their positions” He insisted with a promise of fair hearing.

EFE founder further indicated that he would not respect the influence or position of anyone, promising accountability, to show his party is on another level, compared to others that have not stood their grounds and controlled by influence.

“You have MP who comes from Malamulele – who doesn’t give you a single bus. He is an MP since 2014, and then you have a councilor from Malamulele – who gives you one bus, and then, I must accept that” His rhetorical question received brief endorsement as he continued. “You are so used to people not being held accountable, it’s not going to happen in the EFE and the majority of them are going to be removed” he further threatened.
